While AJAX seems to be a hit with the ‘Web 2.0′ community, other’s absolutely detest AJAX. AJAX can add additional features, interactivity, and ‘coolness’ to a page. However, with every new feature, there are also drawbacks, and the backlash against AJAX will grow for many until some simple problems are eliminated.

AdWords Shows Conversion Numbers in AdGroup View

One of the most requested features that advertisers have for Google AdWords is a view of actual conversion numbers next to the conversion rate. While one can do some quick math of multiplying conversion rate by clicks to arrive at a rough conversion number, it would be nice to see the actual number.

Danny in USA Today

Excel 2007 Supports Over 1 Million Rows

I’m a big fan of Excel, and finally got around to testing the beta this morning.

The first thing I checked, how many rows it could handle.

Goodbye to the very limited 64k rows – the new excel is up to 1,048,576.

It’s a good day for Excel users.
