Branding with Pay Per Click Advertising

Posted: July 1, 2002

Branding is when searchers associate your website with a particular product. This takes a lot of time and effort, but the end results can be tremendous.

Since pay per click advertising occurs at the search level. Your website’s advertisements will be shown for certain keywords. Over time, this association grows stronger and helps to brand your website with a particular product.

The use of many pay per click search engines, and their content distribution partners will increase your website’s internet visibility, and will give you exposure in many niche areas.

Even if these sites do not convert your ads into traffic, you have been seen associated with such products, and you gain the benefit of site branding without having to pay for clicks.

Branding is a long term process that involves many forms of advertising and good content. The use of pay per click branding with other offline advertising can significantly increase your total awareness to the public.
