Google Grant Owners – Apply for More Free Advertising
I don’t write about Google Grants very often; but it’s a fantastic program that Google offers to give non-profits some free marketing dollars.
Google determines how much you receive every month, and then you get an account that you can manage with a few restrictions – the two biggest ones are:
- Can’t advertise on the content network
- Can’t bid over $1 per click
Google is doing some kind of content network experiment for Google Grants where you can get $500 of free content advertising. The only catch is that Google employees will build and manage this account. Honestly, it sounds like Google is either doing a controlled test to gather data or teaching their managers how to run content network accounts. In either case, Google Grant users can get some free ads.
