Kanoodle Review
Posted: July 30, 2004
Kanoodle started as a middle of the road pay per click search engine. They had a lot of small distribution partners, and no major partner. While they had a nice traffic stream, they did suffer from some poor conversion rates.
Then Google bought Sprinks. While this might seem to have nothing to do with another search engine, it did free up Sprinks executives from jobs. Kanoodle hired some of these individuals, and their quality has only gone up since.
Kanoodle immediately put the former Sprinks executives to work with what they did best, category based content targeting. This has breathed new life into Kanoodle, and we think that it will only continue to improve Kanoodle’s position as a solid pay per click search engine as time passes.
Kanoodle Pay Per Click Advantages
? Low bid prices
? Good distribution network
? Content targeting (a major advantage)
? Easy to use interface
? Strong leadership from within
Kanoodle Pay Per Click Disadvantages
? Still offers affiliate distribution of ads
? No major distribution partner
Kanoodle pay per click is on our watch list for the upcoming year. We feel that Kanoodle (along with FindWhat and ePilot) will be the biggest movers among the second tier pay per click search engines.
If you have a solid Overture PPC and Google AdWords account, and would like to expand your pay per click advertisement to other search engines, we feel that Kanoodle is worth strong consideration.
