    I’m assuming you mean the metro version of a city not individual cities.

    That’s much better than the 80% accurate at the DMA number that was floating around a few years back. It looks like they are making improvements in IP.

    Brad, do you buy into the 90% accuracy at the city level?

    Yes, 90% at the DMA/Metro level.

    Yahoo uses a ’super cookie’ and other data in determining location other than just IP address. Yahoo seems to be highly when they use their data correctly (which isn’t always).

    My favorite change at Yahoo is that they are finally being more aggressive showing GEO ads/natural results for semi-ambiguous terms (a while ago, you would not see local results for a query such as ‘chicago dentist’; and today you will see those results).
