Quality Score Video with Andrew Goodman

Webpro News Video put together an interesting video on Quality Score that is worth watching.

In the video, someone mentions that external links can help quality score. I’ve not seen any evidence of this whatsoever. Many eCommerce sites have great quality scores and do not link out (why would you) from a product or landing page to an external source.

If you wanted to be a hub based site, then maybe it could help; but I’d have to see some real evidence before I believed that. Internal linking is important as you want to make sure the searcher can find their information as we all have different search process goals.
