Foreign Language Keywords

Posted: February 24, 2004

In the United States, the largest growing online sector is Spanish speakers. Many of this demographic is bilingual. They will often search for Spanish words on Google’s English website. Targeting these keywords can be a great boon to your business.

Translating your site into foreign languages, even for United States based businesses can gather you even more sales.

Although Spanish is the largest growing population, there are many other foreign speakers in the United States. Google AdWords currently supports 14 different languages.

Any of these languages can be advertised on Google’s English based websites.

Conversely, any English words can also be advertised on Google’s foreign websites. If your employees only speak English, but you receive international orders, it can be profitable to advertise in English throughout the European nations.
